Swingarm: Extra Storage Might Be Nice

The Harley-Davidson Iron 883 is, at its core, a raw and stripped-down, bare bike. It's simple, allowing for limitless customizations, which many owners love. I personally love the basic look of the bike but I can't help but wish for some storage space. I usually ride with a backpack, but on days I don't it would be nice to have a place to store my hat, sunglasses, gloves, etc.

I wanted to avoid something that would give my bike too much bulk, like saddlebags. After doing some research, I found the Dowco Willie & Max 59778-00 Synthetic Leather Swingarm Bag on Amazon for less that $100 and it fits like a charm. It adds to the black aesthetic, and tucked in a way that it looks like it belongs on the bike.

Inside look of the swingarm bag

The inside of the bag is fairly small, but should be able to fit a water bottle, hat, keys, phone, wallet, microfiber towel, or just take everything out and have an entire motorcycle cover to store when riding. The bag measures 10-1/2" L x 4-1/2" W x 11-1/2"H and mounts on the left-side.

The installation of the bike is just three straps mounted on the bike's frame, and should take less that 15 minutes to knock out!
